Dr. Vivek Nanda
Dr. Vivek Nanda is a dedicated and dynamic healthcare professional committed to providing superior care and consultation to his patients at Setu Nutricare Clinic. Dr. Nanda ensures holistic patient care with a steadfast belief in addressing the root causes of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) through lifestyle changes alongside medical intervention.
Dr. Nanda holds the esteemed Diplomate of the National Board in Emergency Medicine from Apollo Hospital, Bangalore (2016-2019), demonstrating his expertise and commitment to excellence. He has also completed his FCCS – Critical Care, USA, 2023. A prolific contributor to medical literature, he has authored over Eight papers published nationally and internationally, contributing significantly to advancing medical knowledge. As a respected member of the academic community, Dr. Nanda serves as a faculty member for the postgraduate course DNB in Emergency Medicine, imparting his knowledge and experience to the next generation of medical professionals.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Nanda possesses a diverse background in Blood transfusion and Drug safety, with notable contributions to the World Drug Dictionary, MeDRA. His dedication to healthcare extends beyond clinical practice, as evidenced by his role as a trainer for nurses and medical officers during the COVID-19 pandemic, earning recognition from Mrs. Jayanti Ravi, Principal Secretary of Health, Gujarat, for his exemplary service. Additionally, Dr. Vivek Nanda is actively supporting the Fit India Movement and encouraging everyone to stay fit and healthy.
Dr. Nanda’s commitment to excellence is further demonstrated through his involvement in various professional endeavors, including:
- Medical In-charge for The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India, Ahmedabad Indikarting race (January 2024).
- Emergency Medicine Consultant and Stadium Doctor in charge at Ahmedabad for prestigious events such as the ICC Men’s One Day World Cup matches (2023), India- Australia test match series (2023), India-New Zealand T20 Match (2022), and Indian Premier League (IPL) Semifinal & Final (2022).
- Serving as a Visiting Faculty to teach Medicine at Ahmedabad Physiotherapy College (APC), Parul University, Ahmedabad.
- Holding the position of Joint Secretary, Gujarat chapter, Society of Emergency Medicine since 2022.
- Serving as an instructor for AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), as well as holding certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP).
- Serving as an instructor and course coordinator for workshops such as Point of Care Ultrasonography (POCUS) Workshop with Sonosite named SONOFOCUS and Nursing Trauma Life Support (NTLS).
- Being the recipient of the Young Faculty Award at EMCON’18.
Currently, Dr. Nanda practices as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at KD Hospital, Ahmedabad, where he continues to provide exceptional care to his patients while actively contributing to medical education and professional development.
