Dt. Riddhi Nanda

Dt. Riddhi Nanda is the Director and a devoted Ayurvedic Nutritionist at Setu Nutricare Clinic. Her mission is to contribute to the establishment of a medicine-free society. With a solid foundation and a profound commitment to health and wellness, she brings abundant knowledge and experience to her esteemed profession.

Dt. Nanda’s life journey has been a total rollercoaster in choosing this field. Coming from a small town in Gujarat, being an obese person and being bullied by others took a toll on her, making her suffer from depression. Even after so much discrimination and bullying, she never let all these win over her aim of being a doctor.

Her journey to becoming a doctor started with pursuing an MBBS in Russia for the first two years, followed by a dedicated study in dentistry in Canada. Affirming her commitment to advancing her expertise, she completed her post-graduation diploma in Hospital Management and Medico-legal Systems from Symbiosis, Pune, India.

While being in Russia for a couple of years and successfully losing weight by joining the gym, Dt. Riddhi mistook this as a milestone achievement. But soon after discontinuing the gym, she put on some weight, making her come to the same place she was before.

Driven by her personal experiences of being left out for being an obese girl, and particularly post-pregnancy challenges including post-partum depression, anxiety, and obesity as well, Dt. Nanda started her self-education journey and tried a plethora of diets and experiments until her determination led her to pursue certification in Nutrition Science. Today, she is a certified nutritionist specializing in  Clinical Nutrition, Weight Loss and Management, DNA Diet, FAD Diet, Cardiovascular Diseases, Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Kidney Diseases, and Lactation consultancy, among other areas.

While pursuing her clinical nutrition, she came across Ayurveda, which has excellent benefits for our bodies. After gaining a deep knowledge of Ayurveda, she integrated the main Ayurvedic principles of Ahar (diet) and Vihar (lifestyle) with modern nutrition science. She started implementing them in her life, which helped her successfully reduce 39 kg, i.e., from 97 kg to 58 kg.

Although gaining deep knowledge about Ayurveda was all about her self-learning, but the impact she witnessed in her life encouraged her to spread the word about our long-lost remedies of Ayurveda.

Since June 2018, Dr. Riddhi has made a significant impact on thousands of patients and their families by transforming their lifestyle, which was adversely affected by diseases and excessive dependency on plenty of medications.

Dr. Nanda has passionately dedicated her knowledge to enlightening and empowering today’s youth with the awareness of Ayurved and the necessary tools to embrace healthier lifestyles and combat the prevalence of lifestyle-related diseases. For this, she has been enthusiastically advocating for the Fit India Mission, launched by our honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, in 2019.

Dr. Nanda actively delivers informative lectures across various platforms, including schools, colleges, corporate organizations, and institutions, and posts informative content on her social media handles. Through these presentations, she aims to elucidate the complexities of nutrition science while emphasizing the paramount importance of preventive health management.

Her unwavering commitment to spreading awareness about proactive health management and the pivotal role of nutrition has earned her widespread admiration and respect. Dr. Nanda’s tireless efforts are influential in fostering a healthier, more enlightened society capable of confronting the challenges of modern living with resilience and vigor.
